Simple Solutions for 2013
Every year on January 1 I sit down with Craig and complete a vision map for the coming year (see 2012′s here). It will hang on my refrigerator all year long to serve as a reminder of my goals. This year I left a little extra space to breathe and am focused on three things: eating well, writing about eating well, earning a stable income, and doing as much of it as possible! These are my favorite words and phrases from the 2013 board:
There’s an art to this kind of balance.
Best life
Simple Solutions

Write That Book

Things we can’t stop talking about
Nurture your calling

Celebrating Banned Books Week 2012: Renia reads “The Scarlet Letter” by Nathaniel Hawthorne
Since the inception of Banned Books Week in 1982, libraries and bookstores throughout the country have staged local read-outs—a continuous reading of banned/challenged books—as part of their activities. For the second year in a row, readers from around the world can participate in the Banned Books Virtual Read-Out. This is the third of my favorite frequently banned books. Come back every day this week for a new one.
